Open questions (Petter's to decide)

  1. Flower cards turned to the camera, or crossed as today? A card that turns with her has no cross seen from above and costs half, but a drift then looks a little like paper cut-outs facing her, as the drawn trees' clumps do. Recommendation: turn them. Try it in meadow and nordalen from her camera first; if the turning shows when she circles a lupin, keep the cross for cards over 0.6 m only.

  2. Sprays instead of clumps: repaint all sixteen, and grow the set to thirty-two? The new shader's foot tint helps today's cards at once, without new art. The full set (section 6 of the README) is 32 paintings on the Mac's Krea 2 and a cut-out each. Recommendation: yes to both, in two rounds: first the sixteen kinds that exist, as sprays; then the sixteen new ones (fireweed, foxglove, globeflower, poppy, cornflower, cow parsley, dandelion, wood anemone, thrift, moss campion, mountain avens, seed grass, the two elf flowers and the two variants).

  3. Let violet and rose flowers count as accents in the paint pass? The pass keeps what is saturated and brighter than 0.5–0.85 luma. Gold and cyan pass; harebell blue, lupin violet and heather rose do not, and are muted by 30 % outside. One line in paint.ts changes that: glowK = smoothstep(0.25, 0.5, spread) · smoothstep(0.35, 0.6, luma). Sunlit grass (luma 0.33, spread 0.19) stays out; a risk is warm thatch and ochre walls picking up a little saturation. Recommendation: make the change and look at Blomsterenga and Vassenden with it at level 2. If walls shift, leave the pass alone and paint outside blues lighter (#8A8CF0 and up).

  4. How yellow may the inside grass be? Painted sunlit meadows measure near #BAB240; the rulebook's inside grass is #6DB33F → #8CC84B and says "warm, yellow-green". The proposal keeps the body and moves only the tips (#A4CF52) and the dry patches (#B9BE4E). Recommendation: start there; if the meadow still reads as one flat green on the iPad, move the body to #7FB742 (the wash previews use that) rather than raising saturation.

  5. Tall flowers outside. Fireweed at 0.95 m and foxglove at 1.0 m break the 0.8 m rule that was written for the old lupins. She is about 1.3 m tall. Recommendation: allow them outside only, in threes, at edges; nothing over 0.8 m inside.

  6. Grass height. Today's seed-grass patches reach 1.4 m, over her eyes. The table caps them at 0.6 m inside and 0.9–0.95 m outside (marram 1.2 m). Recommendation: the caps as given. A child should see over the meadow inside the wall and wade through it outside.

  7. Zone colours. The seven rows in the README's zone table are built on docs/art-direction.md's two palettes. The Eventyrland portfolio defines the zones' identities and had not published its palettes when this was written; the Alvheim portfolio likewise. Recommendation: whoever merges the three takes each zone's body from the family portfolio and keeps the relations given here (tip, gust and dry as shifts from the body; outside at 55–70 % of inside's saturation).

  8. Poppies and cornflowers in Sørmarka. They are field weeds further south and east in Norway, less so in the west; they give Sørmarka the ember and blue accents nothing else there has. Recommendation: keep them, only along walls, plots and ways.

  9. Petals and seeds when she runs through a drift. It is the cheapest piece of "dynamic" and the one a child will notice first. It could also become a small find (dandelion clocks to blow). Recommendation: build it with step 8; leave the game idea for later.

  10. The paint pass over inside's far meadows? Inside the wall the look is off, so the far field there has only the wash and the gust light. If that reads too plain, the pass's dabs could run inside at a low strength. Recommendation: no. Inside is "soft, blended, strokes barely visible"; judge the wash on stills first.
